Year 2010 witnessed great changes in the organizational chart of Horizont. We created an effective and controllable organization – holding.
Horizont Group now comprises the following business units:
- BU "Plastic and Metal"
- BU "Services"
- BU "Research and Development"
- BU "Lighting"
- BU "Consumer Electronics"
- BU "Development"
- BU "Retail"
- BU "Industrial Electronics"
- BU "Auto components".
Each business unit consists of several businesses – independent companies in different spheres that have all necessary authority at the market and are aimed at bringing profit.
Horizont Group is headed by the management company that is not engaged in any economic activity. Horizont Holding Management Company is dealing with strategic issues only: strategy generation, strategic decision making, setting and controlling strategic and financial aims, financial management, top HR management, investment management.
The primary objectives of the management company are: creation of holding business portfolio (creation and introduction to holding of highly effective business units that are generation profit) and effective business unit management, acquiring synergy effect.
By Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1131 dated August 24, 2011, Horizont Group was vested with authority to represent the intrests of Belarus in terms of attracting investments, and by certificate No. 048286 was granted the Investment Agent status.
