New business unit "Lighting" became part of Horizont Group's portfolio after acquisition of JSC "Brest Lamp Factory"
General information:
In the field of general-purpose lamps production, our lighting factory reached the level of orders fulfillment and quality goods production according to the demands of our customers. For direct replacement of general-purpose lamps, we started to explore and develop production of brand-new light bulbs – LED ones. LED lamps - it's a new frontier in lighting industry.Activity:
- Production of incandescent lamps for special and general purpose;
- LED lamps (advantages of LED lamps are energy saving and long service life (up to 50 thousand hours), while the general-purpose lamps – 1 thousand hours, energy-saving halogen lamps – 2 thousand hours);
- Compact energy saving lamps;
- High pressure sodium lamps for street lighting and greenhouses;
- Modernization of street lighting and glass production.
JSC “Lamp Factory” products are used in different industries, automobile, railway, water and air transport, as well as for lighting of residential, public and industrial buildings.
Besides, Lamp Factory is located in Brest City on the border between Poland and Belarus. In the area adjacent to the town (70 sq. km) a free economic zone “Brest” is established. It includes International Airport, a wide network of customs warehouses with customs checkpoint.
