"Horizont Digital Television Institute" is part of Horizont Group and is a separate legal entity. The enterprise performs scientific research, development of the technical facilities and system components, equipment and devices, auxiliary facilities, information, software and electronic products as well as new advanced technologies and consumer goods. The majority of the developments are performed for internal use of Horizont Group’s companies.

The main activities are:

R&D of digital television equipment (digital TV-sets, DVB, DVD-players, etc.);
R&D of home appliances (microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners);
R&D and manufacturing of LED lamps for motor vehicles;
R&D and manufacture of special on-board electronic equipment for aircraft and ground vehicles;
R&D and manufacturing of control systems for shooting ranges;
R&D and manufacturing of industrial electronics.

The enterprise has a modern research centre performing tests of household professional audio/video equipment, loud speakers, develops new conceptions of acoustic system construction and sound channels of the TV sets and other household audio appliances. The tests are carried out according to the European standards used for marking products by the CE label. The test center complies with the criteria of the accreditation system of the Republic of Belarus and is accredited on the conformity requirements of the safe engineering system ISO/IEC 17025.

General Information:

“CNNITU” was created on the 30th of August, 1961 under the decision of the Presidium of the USSR Council of Ministers. CNIITU is a modern, rapidly developing enterprise. Availability of hi-tech equipment, use of high quality materials, application of the latest developments allows it to carry out production that meets the requirements of customers. Production of electronic plastic cards is included in the list of highly technological enterprises of the Republic and is the only one in Belarus. Long-term and effective cooperation with the enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, and also close connection with the enterprises of the Russian Federation allows it to speak about high potential of the enterprise.

The main spheres are:

Complex automation and mechanization of production;
General engineering standard and guidance material in the production technology and organization;
New methods of engineering production organization;

The first working outs were aimed at creating a system of automation process design of engineering enterprises depending on the production specificity and applicable systems of operational management and design (for example, “Minsk Tractor Works” projects, later - the Minsk Watch Plant "Luch" and "Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Factory").

Activity:

Experienced in Scientific and Research project implementation, as well as design and technological working outs, including the following branches:

methodology of design unification and standardization of the automated systems, system integration of complex automated systems development, development and implementation of standard design solutions, wide-system software automation means of automated systems design;
methodology and design technology of the integrated automated control systems for the government and industry;
development and production of electronic cards for different purposes;
